TRANSBETON Ltd. - making use of products and services, ecology

  • production of certified concrete mixtures in keeping with ČSN EN ISO 9001
  • concrete transport using a concrete agitator (mixer) with a volume of 5 m³, 7 m³ and 9 m³
  • pumping of concrete up to a distance of 28 - 47 m, hall pump reaching 31 m

Concrete mixtures are widely used at almost all construction sites, e.g. in constructing complete industrial plants such as commercial and shopping centres, warehouse halls, administrative and logistical centres, sewer systems, collectors, sewage plants and other waterworks, apartment buildings, family houses and many others. Their primary technical use in construction lies in providing for good statics or building foundations (piles, micropiles, grouting etc.). Concrete is also used as a construction material and a key part for the construction of baseplates or bands of newly constructed buildings and monolithic constructions. Sublayer concrete is also used in constructing roads and utility networks, as concrete for constructing roads and bridges, concrete designated for floor use (self-levelling, anhydrid) and other self-compacting, aerated or expanded concrete.

The company's professional approach in producing concrete emphasizes the quality of certified concrete mixtures in keeping with a ČSN EN ISO 9001, timely delivery, maximum accommodation of customer needs including provision of all necessary services, monitoring construction trends and production of the most advanced concrete mixtures based upon recipes arrived at in consultation with specialized consultants from the academic environment of the Civil Engineering Faculty of Brno University of Technology or upon the customer's request.

All TRANSBETON plants are equipped with automatic recycling equipment for environmental reasons. This equipment disposes of the remains of concrete mixtures (not used at construction sites, rinsing out the mixed material as well as pumps and mixers) by separating the aggregates (sand and gravel) from water, binding materials and ingredients. The sludge water thus created is re-used in concrete production as are the separated aggregates. The individual facilities are dust-free and waste-free and thus environmentally friendly, the immediate surroundings and workers.
